Sense Network has launched an auto-enrolment support service for all its members by becoming a licencee of Jargonfree Benefits software.

The Jargonfree Benefits software is designed to integrate with employers’ payroll systems and to provide them with an end to end solution for their auto- enrolment obligations. Sense will subsidise the cost of the software for its members.

Tim Newman, Sense managing director, said: “We believe that auto-enrolment offers an outstanding opportunity for independent advice firms to become the adviser of choice for local SMEs.

“IFAs have the skills and experience to offer valuable advice on pension schemes and, as importantly, can provide a valued service in helping firms with the ongoing burden of the regulations.”

Steve Bee, chief executive of Jargonfree Benefits, said: “I have always said that the UK IFA community is key to the success of the important auto-enrolment reforms. I am obviously pleased to see so many of the very best IFA businesses around joining us and helping to make Jargonfree Benefits the industry standard AE solution for both employers and IFAs.”

Sense members will also benefit from a detailed training programme starting with workshops in October, training sessions on the Jargonfree system in November and further workshops in January with The Pensions Regulator and leading providers Aviva and Scottish Widows.
