Retirement specialist Age Partnership has expanded its phone-based equity release advisory service to include a face-to-face offering.

Hoping to broaden its customer reach, the firm plans to recruit several field-based equity release advisors across the UK over the course of 2014.

Sara Robinson has been appointed Age Partnership’s equity release field-sales manager to help with this new venture.

Dan Baines, sale and marketing director at Age Partnership, said: “Whilst we remain wholeheartedly committed to the telephone-based advice service from which many thousands of customers have already benefited, we feel that the time is right to expand our equity release proposition with the addition of a number of field-based advisers.”

Age Partnership entered the pension advice market in early 2013. Later that year the firm announced plans to begin offering investment advice.

In August 2013 Age Partnership struck a deal with compliance service provider SimplyBiz to provide third party compliance support for Age Partnership’s entire proposition in return for referrals for all SimplyBiz members in relation to equity release.
