Rob Quayle, managing director at LifeQuote, said the new critical illness comparison technology allows advisers to compare products across insurers and includes the percentage ratings that need to be applied for many conditions.
Mr Quayle said that rating percentages would enable advisers to evaluate instantly which insurers were likely to end up offering the best rates in most circumstances.
Mr Quayle added: “More knowledge at inception means better advice and it can be recorded and justified, and clients have their expectations correctly set in terms of underwriting requirements and ratings, meaning far superior completion rates.”
