Zafar Imran, independent mortgage consultant at London-based AP Financial Services, and John Crisp, director of Motherwell-based Crisp Financial Services, claimed that brokers were being kicked off lending panels without warning or explanation.

Ian Rodgers, owner of South Wales-based CA Mortgage Services, said he was set to chair a meeting in the Midlands this month to gauge interest in setting up a quasi-legal body to represent brokers’ interests.
