The estate agency and financial services business confirmed Ms Woodhouse had resigned but refused to comment on whether her decision to go was provoked by a disagreement over strategy with parent company LSL Property Services’ new chief executive Ian Crabb.

A spokesman from LSL Property Services said: “Ms Woodhouse resigned from the company and has left to pursue another opportunity.

“We wish her all the very best for the future and thank her for all she has achieved in her time with Your Move.”

The estate agency group said it would appoint someone from within the business at senior management level to replace Ms Woodhouse in due course to report to David Newnes, executive director of estate agency for the LSL Group.

Ms Woodhouse was formerly operations director at Pizza Express, head of commercial marketing at Woolworths and regional operations manager at Comet.

She joined Your Move in October 2012.
