Mr Stobbart, 44, had been seen leaving a nearby pub at about 1:30am on the morning of Good Friday and his body was discovered at 6:45am the same day.
A statement from Ageas said: “It is with regret that we can confirm a much valued employee of Ageas, Mark Stobbart, died suddenly late last week.
“He was a long-serving, hard-working and well-liked member of the Ageas team, who was respected by both colleagues and clients. We are deeply saddened by his loss.”
