Fines slow down over four years

According to figures obtained by the City law firm, only 18 such fines were handed down in 2013 to individuals in senior management positions, which was down from 30 in 2010.

Richard Burger, partner at RPC, said that the fall comes despite the FCA’s drive to step up enforcement activity against individuals as well as firms.
