Tom Hegarty, distribution and development manager for Tenet, said: “There is now a wealth of software systems available for advisers to use but we view cashflow modelling as an important area.”

He said Tenet has been building a strong proposition for advisers, which includes income and business generating initiatives, technical support and transitioning and the deal with Prestwood adds further value to these services.

According to Mr Hegarty, as well as intuitive, cloud-based software that offers a full financial planning proposition for clients, Prestwood has designed a bespoke value-added support package for Tenet users.

Ritchie Walton, managing director of Prestwood, said: “Experience has shown that advisers who use lifelong cash-flow forecasting are likely to become more profitable more quickly.”
