Neil Woodford’s new fund will be added to Skandia’s platform and be included in its WealthSelect model portfolio range.

The fund will be available on the platform from June 20 when the offer period ends for the fund and will be available for WealthSelect customers later in the year via a sub-advised mandate.

Skandia said it had secured the 0.65 per cent ongoing charge share class - the same as Standard Life Wrap but cheaper than Cofunds, which secured the 0.75 per cent ongoing charge share class.

SelfSelect is Skandia’s open fund range which enables financial advisers to build their own portfolios from a range of over 1,200 funds.

WealthSelect provides access to Skandia’s researched fund range of around 60 funds at highly competitive prices as well as its managed portfolio service, which is offered at no additional cost to the fund total expense ratios within the portfolios.

Dean Bowden, head of investment solutions at Skandia, said Mr Woodford had a “proven investment approach which will be in high demand from financial advisers”.
