Invesco’s head of money market funds Taylor retires

Invesco’s head of money market funds David Taylor has announced his retirement from the group after 18 years in the role.

Mr Taylor, who has been head of portfolios and responsible for the management of the Dublin-registered AAA Money Market fund and the Luxembourg-domiciled Euro and Dollar Reserve funds.

The group said it was “grateful” to David for his contribution and said after a “long transition of responsibilities” his role would be taken on Paul Mueller.

Mr Mueller joined Invesco in 2003 to manage its enhanced cash clients before moving into a portfolio management role in 2004. Since then, he has been a key member of the institutional portfolio management team with direct responsibility for both short and longer term bond funds, including sterling and multi-currency.

He is now a senior member of the Invesco fixed income team.
