HBoS report due at end of 2014: FCA

Revealing the terms of reference that will dictate the structure of the review, a statement from the FCA said it was at the “Maxwellisation” stage, which means those mentioned in the report get a chance to view the content.

The FCA said its report would summarise why HBoS failed, look at the supervision by its predecessor, the Financial Services Authority, and decide whether other former HBoS executives should face enforcement action.
