Comment:

This trio of funds is a great new way to invest for retirement. The funds are designed to be for varying terms and for different risk profiles so an investor has the option to pick a fund they believe is best suited to them.

Multi-asset funds have been launched in a wave over the past few years, and it is easy to understand their popularity. They are designed to access numerous asset classes within just the one investment. The ease of investing in a multi-asset fund, teamed with traditionally low costs, is reason enough to look at these funds.

The minimum investment of £3,000 is slightly more than a standard fund, which tends to have a minimum of £1,000. It may be the case the cost is higher purely for the name Goldman Sachs.

The launch comes less than six months after Goldman Sachs launched some other multi-asset funds and the group has been increasing its exposure in the UK over the past few years. Despite the industry being flooded with multi-asset funds, there is clearly strong demand.
