Royal London Asset Management (Rlam) has said it is developing an absolute return bond fund for the retail market.

The company noted the fund is still in the development stage but that the intention is to bring an offering in the absolute return space that is easily accessible to both institutions and wholesale clients.

Although further details of the fund are yet to be confirmed, Rlam said the new vehicle would be run by its head of government bonds Paul Rayner and Darren Bustin, who is head of derivatives at the firm.
