Henderson is set to change the name of the Global Strategic Capital fund to the Henderson Multi-Manager Global Select fund on August 11.

The investment policy and pricing will also be altered as part of an overhaul following the exit of former manager Paul Craig earlier this year.

The fund will invest in ETFs, investment trust shares and other close-ended vehicles and will change from being dual priced to single priced.

“These changes make the fund consistent with the management approach taken with the rest of the Henderson Multi-Manager range of funds,” said Henderson in a note to investors.

The £73.2m fund is managed by Bill McQuaker’s multi-manager team after Mr Craig joined Old Mutual in May.

As of August 11, the fund will move from the IMA Flexible Investment sector to the IMA Global sector.

The fund has returned 16.4 per cent in the past year, compared to the IMA Flexible Investment sector average of 7.9 per cent.
