I will not be judging Scottish Widows’ service

In response to the article on Scottish Widows being slated for “plummeting service levels” (FA, July 17), having a significant amount of business with Scottish Widows, I will not rush to judge them by what is dreadful service at this time, no more than I would rush to judge any provider by one measure.

But what we do not need is senior figures giving “politically correct” comment as this is infuriating - you are not “falling short”... your service is diabolical. And it is not “the recent Budget”, it is auto enrolment, and you did not resource sufficiently for it, which is a board and operational failure.

Admit it, work on it, and we will stick with you. But please accept, I will not lose one client because of your poor service, so your time is running out.
