Put your MMR questions to the FCA’s mortgage head

What are the key outstanding questions you would like to put to the regulator, or experts representing the provider and broker communities, following the substantial overhaul of mortgage sales under the Mortgage Market Review?

Is there anything you want to ask on the changes to advice processes, interactions with lenders or affordability discussions with clients? Do you want to know more about what prompted the rules, how they are playing out now, or what to expect in the future?

On Thursday 11 September, FTAdviser is hosting it’s first live Q&A debate on the MMR, featuring Lynda Blackwell, mortgage and mutuals sector manager in the regulator’s conduct policy division. And we would like your questions to put to participants.

Alongside Ms Blackwell, who can give an overview of the regulator’s objectives, monitoring, and expectations, a three-person panel will feature Rob Barnard, head of intermediary sales at Aldermore, to give the provider perspective, and David Hollingworth of London and Country Mortgages, to give the broker view.

Please submit your questions by email to the editor at ashley.wassall@ft.com, using our Twitter handle @FTAdviser and the hashtag #MMRDebate, or of course you can post comments below.

We will put these questions to the participants during the debate, and will also be taking live questions on the day itself.

We will also be taking the views of advisers on all of the key issues via live polls during the debate.

We look forward to hearing from you.
