Bambos Hambi’s 25-strong MyFolio range of funds has seen assets surpass £5bn less than four years after launching.
The Standard Life Investments (SLI) funds have seen net sales of £760m during the first half of this year, according to the company.
Iain Mcleod, investment specialist for the MyFolio range, said since launch in October 2010 the range had been “delivering on what they set out to do which is to deliver returns commensurate with the level of risk selected”.
He added the most popular part of the range was the MyFolio Managed funds, which invest primarily in SLI funds, while the income focussed funds were also proving popular.
Mr Hambi joined the group in March 2011. He had previously been head of multi-manager funds at both Gartmore Investment Management and Rothschild Asset Management.
