Threadneedle has replaced Dan Ison with Frederic Jeanmaire as lead manager of its Threadneedle Pan European Focus fund.

Mr Jeanmaire had previously been deputy manager on the fund, a role which Mr Ison will now take on.

Mr Ison will continue as lead manager on the Threadneedle Pan European Equity Dividend fund and the offshore Threadneedle Pan European Equities fund.

Since Mr Ison became lead manager of the Threadneedle Pan European Focus fund in September 2007, the fund has delivered top quartile performance of 50.1 per cent, compared to the sector average return for the IMA Europe including UK sector of 36.2 per cent, according to FE Analytics.

In a statement, Threadneedle said: “Fred has been a key member of our European equities team since joining the company in 2011, providing analysis of the banks and telecom sectors across the European markets.

“Investors in the fund will continue to benefit from the expertise of both managers and the wider European equities team.”
