Troy Asset Management has hired Tom Yeowart from Rothschild Wealth Management to manage its £85m Troy Spectrum fund.
The Spectrum fund of funds had previously been managed on a team-based approach by Troy, led by star managers Sebastian Lyon and Francis Brooke.
But Mr Yeowart is set to take on responsibility for the fund, and Mr Lyon said his “particular skills in fund research will play an important role in developing this leg of Troy’s business”.
Prior to working at Rothschild, where he had focused on fund research, Mr Yeowart has held roles at Brewin Dolphin, Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander and Williams de Broë.
