Aberdeen’s head of global high yield Greg Hopper has taken on the management of the £1.7bn Swip High Yield Bond fund.

Mr Hopper is a senior portfolio manager and head of the global high yield strategy on Aberdeen’s North American fixed income team.

He joined Aberdeen in 2013 as part of its acquisition of Artio Global Investors, the firm he joined in 2002 to set up its global high income strategy.

Mr Hopper has replaced Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) managers Steven Logan and Kevin Mathews.
