Sarah Fullaway is leaving the financial services industry after helping get her company Oviso to a “successful point”, she has said.

Insurance specialist Ms Fullaway, who is being bought out by her partners Lee Mortimer and Matt Simpson, said she will do between three and six months of consultancy work for the Derby-based insurance company.

However, she felt compelled to move into a different sector.

She and two business partners have launched a company, Portixol Relocation, also in Derby, which will help employees moving to the UK with accomodation and other needs.

She said: “The thing with financial services is I started in a bank at 16. I have been in the industry for 17 years.

“We have got Oviso to a successful point, and it’s going well, but I was ready for a new challenge and felt I was getting a little bit stale.

“This opportunity came up and it was too good to miss.”

Ms Fullaway has previously won Financial Adviser’s protection adviser of the year award.
