Three additional claimants have joined Keydata founder Stewart Ford in his intended legal action against the FCA.

In a letter dated 10 September to Dentons UKMEA, the legal firm representing the City regulator, Mr Ford said that Mark Owen, Peter Johnson and Craig McNeil, trustees of the Keydata Employee Benefit Trust, wished to join him in intended action.

In his original pre-action letter dated 28 July, Mr Ford accused the former FSA of “misfeasance in public office” and later gave it until 29 September to answer him.

A spokesman for the FCA said: “The FCA’s disciplinary proceedings against Mr Ford continue and under these circumstances, it is inappropriate to comment.”
