Xafinity has appointed James Cannon to its self-invested personal pension and small self-administered scheme sales team as business development manager, supporting new and existing clients.

He joins from AJ Bell and has over a decade of experience in the sector, having previously worked for James Hay. Mr Cannon will be covering the north of England region, ranging from Stafford and Nottingham up to Lancaster and Teeside.

Jeff Steedman, head of Sipp and Ssas business development at Xafinity, said: “James’ experience in developing financial adviser and client relationships will be invaluable in helping deliver our ambitious plans for growth.”

Andy Bowsher, director at Xafinity, added “Our product and personal service proposition, along with our singular focus on the financial adviser community, has always been strong.

“Somewhat against the recent trend for Sipp providers, we’re in great health and investing in the future by freezing our Sipp admin fees and growing our support for advisers.”
