The fund management arm of Brooks Macdonald Group has hired Kevin Addison as head of sales from SEI Investments.
In a statement, Brooks Macdonald Funds (BMF) confirmed Mr Addison will be responsible for “driving the continued growth in funds under management across BMF’s range of funds, as well as management of the UK sales team and broker desk”.
At SEI Investments he was managing director and head of UK and European asset management distribution, with responsibility for developing its UK and European wholesale distribution business.
Mr Addison has also previously worked at Scottish Widows Investment Partnerships, where he was head of wholesale distribution.
Simon Wombwell, chief executive of BMF, said: “Kevin has extensive experience in developing relationships with professional advisers and discretionary fund managers in the UK and has a proven track record in managing successful business development teams.
“Kevin’s appointment further reinforces the strength of our fund management proposition and his wealth of knowledge and contacts will add tremendous value to BMF.”
