Investec Asset Management has expanded its emerging market fixed income team by hiring Mike Hugman as a strategist.
Mr Hugman has joined from hedge fund Amiya Capital, where he was an economist, having previously been an economist and strategist at Standard Bank.
The new hire brings Investec’s emerging market fixed income team up to 28 and his focus will be on developing “proprietary and innovative research” within the team.
