A group of colleagues from Bristol-based Jelf Employee Benefits has raised more than £10,000 in memory of a friend and former colleague who had passed away in March following a battle with cancer.

Emma Wygladala from Fishponds, near Bristol, worked as a business support manager at the Jelf Group in Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire, before she was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma of the womb in 2013. She passed away 10 months later, aged 38. Her colleagues at Jelf raised the funds through a programme of activities, and gave the proceeds to Bristol charity St Peter’s Hospice, which cared for Ms Wygladala in her final weeks.
