Aviva Investors hires Diebel as head of rates

Aviva Investors has hired Charlie Diebel as head of rates strategy to work on its fixed income strategy from Lloyds Bank.

In the role Mr diebel will be responsible for working with the emerging market debt and developed market rates team and coordinating the fixed income house view across the business.

He will be based in London and report to Daniel James, global head of rates and multi-strategy fixed income.

Prior toLloyds, Mr Diebel worked as head of rates strategy at Nomura International.

The Aviva Investors fixed income team manages £152 billion in assets.
