Retirement wealth planning platform James Hay Partnership has launched an Isa wrapper to take advantage of new individual savings account legislation.

Chris Smeaton, director of marketing for James Hay, said: “The ability to offer access to funds, stocks and shares and a range of cash products within a single Isa wrapper is a real plus for clients.

“Despite the new client asset rules, which made it more difficult to offer cash products through Isas, we are pleased that we have managed to do this, and will continue to add to the panel over the coming months.”

Bob Wilson, director and adviser, GreenSky Wealth, Norfolk, pointed out that many companies do this already. He said: “If you look at any wrap platform they will include Isas. It makes sense. There’s a big synergy between Sipps and Isas; you’ve already got the assets signed up, it’s just around the compliance with setting up the Isa wrapper.”

Key features:

• Can include stocks/shares, company-approved funds, some cash products

• Hosted on Modular iPlan platform

• Core self-invested personal pension allows access to Isa and general investment account wrappers

• Fund range available from 0.18 per cent above £195,000 assets

• Range reduces to 0.05 per cent above £1m
