Henderson Global Investors has hired Ian Dyble as head of product development as it aims to strengthen its product team.

Mr Dyble joins from Cazenove Capital Management where he was head of product development and chief operation officer.

He will report to James Bowers, who has been promoted from head of product to global head of product and distribution.

Mr Bowers said: “The fact that we have attracted someone of Ian’s calibre to lead our product development function is testament to Henderson’s growing prominence in the global investment market.”

Mr Bowers will now oversee global distribution projects including product development, project management, customer strategy and business management. He will report to Phil Wagstaff, global head of distribution.

Mr Wagstaff said that the changes to the team were a consequence of “adapting to client needs” and Henderson’s “growing global assets under management”.

“Our distribution footprint has grown quickly in the past 12 months,” he said.

“We have raised substantial net new net assets over that period and have registered funds and share classes in multiple new jurisdictions.

“2015 will see us leveraging recent acquisitions and new hires across our global distribution business.”
