Shawbrook expands broker introducer team

Shawbrook Bank has appointed Jack Simon as an outbound sales executive in its internal business team.

He will be supporting the team’s work with Shawbrook’s large introducer base to encourage the supply of supplementary business for brokers.

The role is designed to generate new business in areas not covered by external field sales, by working with new and existing introducer bases, then referring the business to one of Shawbrook’s brokers.

Mr Simon will be responsible for developing relationships with broker partners and offering personal service. He stated that he is aiming to ensure introducers do not miss business opportunities and that Shawbrook brokers derive more value from the firm’s offering.

Karen Bennett, sales and marketing director for commercial mortgages at Shawbrook Bank, added: “We are confident that Jack will be a valuable addition, and look forward to the impact he has on referred business via this key channel.”
