Rap music and equity release specialists are, perhaps mercifully, rarely brought together in the same room.
But for the organisers of this year’s Equity Release Awards, the prizes, fine food and glamorous backdrop of London’s Merchant Taylors’ Hall were clearly not enough. It seems a comedian performing a freestyle rap, incorporating words and phrases suggested by the audience including “pregnancies”, “Yugoslavia” and “Leeds United” was required to provide the wow factor.
Can we expect breakdancing next year?
