Loomis Sayles promotes co-manager to global bond funds

Loomis Sayles has promoted Scott Service to co-portfolio manager across a range of its global fixed income funds.

The subsidiary of Natixis has appointed Mr Service as co-manager on the Ucits Loomis Sayles Global Opportunistic Bond fund, which was made available to UK investors in 2013.

He will also be co-manager on all of Loomis Sayles’ institutional global aggregate strategies and all of its global government bond portfolios, as well as maintaining his curent role as co-manager on the firm’s global credit funds.

Mr Service will join current managers Lynda Schweitzer, David Rolley and Ken Buntrock on the Global Opportunistic Bond fund.

He joined Loomis Sayles in 1995 and was first appointed as a credit analyst in 1999, rising through the ranks to become part of the firm’s fixed income team in 2003 before being appointed onto the global bond team in 2004.
