Sense has announced two new initiatives to support members to achieve corporate Chartered status.

Based upon research with members, the network will now pay the £500 annual charge for corporate Chartered status, and members wishing to apply to the Chartered Insurance Institute will benefit from a streamlined application process, where Sense will supply much of the information required.

Tim Newman, Sense’s managing director, said: “Although a number of our members already hold corporate Chartered status, we wanted to do something to encourage others and to recognise and acknowledge the excellent standards of service and advice that Chartered firms are required to deliver.”

He added that gaining the Chartered status is one way that financial advisory practices can differentiate themselves from their competition.

“By making these small changes, we hope that more of our members will become chartered and continue to be winners in the post RDR marketplace.”
