Standard Life launches range of discretionary portfolios

Standard Life Wealth has launched five multi-asset managed portfolios as it looks to boost its range of discretionary offerings.

The new Conventional managed portfolio service will be run by Jason Day, senior investment manager at Standard Life Wealth, with Moody’s Analytics providing help with the strategic asset allocation.

The portfolios, which will sit alongside the firm’s existing Target Return range of discretionary portfolios will only be available on Standard Life’s wrap platform.

The minimum investment is £150,000 and total annual charges range from 0.87 per cent to 0.98 per cent plus VAT, depending on the portfolio, based on the initial fund selection in the portfolios at launch.

The portfolios invest across a range of collective funds, both open and closed-ended, active and passive, with 20 per cent of the portfolios allocated to passive funds at launch.
