Advisa Centa extends suite of planning tools

A psychometric questionnaire focusing on a client’s attitude to risk, a portfolio analyser and other tools have been made available to advisers already using a brand of software.

Advisa Centa is a suite of products which includes tools focusing on risk profiling, investments and retirement planning which has been made available for advisers who use Intelliflo’s Intelligent Office system.

Nick Eatock, Intelliflo’s executive chairman, said: “We have seen an increasing demand for financial planning tools.”

The Advisa Centa suite of products includes a psychometric questionnaire that allows advisers to profile a client’s attitude to risk.

Other tools allow advisers to compare the potential outcomes of different investment strategies, explore what their client’s financial situation in retirement could be and help improve their clients’ financial position.

Bob Wilson, financial adviser for Norwich-based GreenSky Wealth, said: “For tools like these there is a very saturated market.

“The psychometric testing is interesting but at the end of the day it is important to speak to the client to gauge their risk, as there can be anomolies.”
