Protection is firmly on the agenda for SimplyBiz Group, which is to hold a series of protection events across the UK this March to help mortgage and protection advisers.
Mr Reynolds, chief executive of SimplyBiz Mortgages, said: “We take protection very seriously and have been working hard with our members over the last few years to help equip them with the technical knowledge as well as the all-important softer skills.”
The 13 events will start in Haydock in Merseyside on Tuesday 3 March as part of a programme of 70 mortgage, protection and general insurance events that will be hosted by SimplyBiz Mortgages.
These will make up part of the 300-plus events that will be offered by the SimplyBiz Group during 2015.
The meetings will feature presentations from providers such as Aviva, Zurich, Vitality Life, Legal & General and Friends Life on areas such as mortgage protection, dealing with declined clients and protection requirements for later-life clients.
Mr Reynolds added: “The feedback from last year was positive, and this year’s initial events aim to build upon this.”

Brian Skinner, principal of North Yorkshire-based Echelon Teesside, said: “I would say some of these events are useful. For someone who has been in the industry a long while, it is not something I would attend most of the time, but I would go on the odd occasion as a refresher.”
