Multi-Manager research firm Scopic Research has developed an online tool allowing advisers to compare funds of funds, managing director Paul Ilott has announced.

He said: “Advisers are under more pressure than ever to show credible due diligence when selecting investment strategies. This gives them a powerful tool with which to navigate an increasingly complex market.”

The tool will enable advisers to compare and filter funds of funds based on very specific criteria.

Set to launch next month, the Leicester-based firm said the service had drawn on its multi-manager database, covering around 100 fields of descriptive, qualitative and factual data on more than 200 individual multi-manager portfolios.
