Aegon UK has awarded a total of £66,666 to its three chosen charities for 2014.
Each of the charities – Alzheimer Scotland, Children with Cancer and Leukaemia Advice and Support for Parents, and the Michelle Henderson Cervical Cancer Trust – received a cheque for £22,222, which was presented by chief executive Adrian Grace at the provider’s Edinburgh Park headquarters.
The company’s employees fundraised tirelessly throughout the year through numerous activities, from bake sales and quizzes to a charity cycle event and a Hearts Legends football match. Aegon UK then matched these funds pound for pound, bringing the grand charitable total to £66,666.
