JO Hambro Capital Management (Johcm) has hired Luis Faňanas from T.Rowe Price ahead of the launch of a European Concentrated Value fund later in March.
Mr Faňanas joined Johcm today to assist lead fund manager Robrecht Wouters on his Johcm European Select Values fund.
He will play the same role to Mr Wouters when the new Johcm European Concentrated Value fund is launched soon.
At T Rowe Price, Mr Faňanas had been a senior member of its global small-mid cap team, focusing on European stocks, prior to which he had been research director for European small cap strategies at Deutsche Bank.
Johcm said the European Concentrated Value fund would be run in the same style as the European Select Values but with a large-cap focus rather than the all-cap strategy on the existing fund.
