Barings promotes Aldridge as Morath resigns

Barings’ Europe, Middle East and Africa distribution head Oliver Morath has resigned from the group, which has promoted Rod Aldridge to the role.

Mr Aldridge, who is the head of UK wholesale distribution now, will take on the role with immediate effect and report to global head of distribution Angus Woolhouse.

Mr Aldridge joined Barings in 2008 from Gartmore Investment Management where he was head of UK retail distribution. Prior to that he helped establish the Cofunds investment platform in the UK.
