JPMAM merges market neutral fund with European equity fund

JPMorgan Asset Management is set to merge its Highbridge Statistical Market Neutral fund with its Europe Equity Absolute Alpha fund on April 28.

Shareholders in the Highbridge Statistical Market Neutral fund have until April 23 to decide whether to accept the move into the new fund, switch to a different JPMorgan fund or redeem their shares.

The fund is set to combine with Michael Barakos, David Allen and Nicholas Horne’s €815.7m (£599.8m) JPM Europe Aboslute Alpha fund, which was closed to new investors in February this year.

JP Morgan Asset Management declined to comment.
