TSB has taken the scalpel to 23 mortgage rates in its range, including two and five-year deals for both house purchase and remortgaging, along with introducing its first three-year deals.
Homeowners looking to remortgage with a loan-to-value of 80 to 85 per cent will benefit from a 0.3 per cent cut in interest rate, while those with a LTV up to 60 per cent will see rate reductions of 0.25 per cent.
Elsewhere, several building societies also had a spring clean of their mortgage ranges, with Newcastle Building Society’s intermediary arm launching new five and 10-year mortgage products, the Mansfield Building Society introducing two new fixed rate deals, and Teachers Building Society bringing in three new fixed rates for their members.
Finally, Nationwide reduced its two and five-year fixed rates at 60 per cent LTV, along with selected fixes for switchers as part of the society’s loyalty rate mortgage initiative. It also updated the deals available as part of tis loyalty rate mortgages initiative, which compares their prices against the top six high street competitors.
