OMGI to launch investment solutions team for Cazier

Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) is set to launch a new investment solutions team headed by Stewart Cazier on May 1.

Mr Cazier will move from his current position as chief operating officer of distribution at Old Mutual Wealth to take up the new role.

He will report to Julian Ide, chief executive officer of OMGI, and will join the executive committee.

The Old Mutual Wealth investment solutions team, headed by Dean Bowden, will move to the new OMGI team and Mr Bowden’s new title will be proposition & commercial director.

He will be joined by Nick Leitch, formerly head of investment solutions at Intrinsic, who will take on the new role of UK proposition manager.

Danny Knight will also join the new team as head of the investment solutions directors team, which will be tasked with providing investment expertise to all of Old Mutual Wealth’s distribution channels.

The investment solutions portfolio management team, headed by John Ventre, will also now report to Mr Cazier.

Mr Ide said: “It is a natural development of our current structure.

“The new structure will also shorten lines of communication, introduce a multi-disciplinary approach and allow us to improve the customer experience at all parts of the value chain.”
