Stop press: Royal London fund off recommended list

The Adviser Centre has removed Royal London Corporate Bond fund from its recommended list, following the news that fund manager Sajiv Vaid is leaving.

Mr Vaid is joining Fidelity Worldwide Investment in July to be co-manager of the Fidelity MoneyBuilder Income and Fidelity Extra Income funds with Ian Spreadbury.

Gill Hutchison, head of investment research at City Financial, said: “We believe that the RLAM fixed income team’s experience and its collegiate approach means that existing investors are in safe hands during this interim phase, but given our high thresholds for inclusion, it is appropriate to remove the fund from our recommended list.”
