Jupiter Asset Management has hired Columbia Threadneedle’s Nick Ring as global head of distribution.
Mr Ring will join Jupiter in September, where he will direct the firm’s global sales effort and help to develop and implement business strategy.
He joins from Columbia Threadneedle, where he had been since 2008, most recently as global head of product.
The global head of distribution role was previously held by Simon Hynes, who quit the group after just three months in that role having spent 12 years at Jupiter in all.
