Intelliflo sees ‘record’ new business figures in May

Intelliflo signed up a “record” 41 firms for its web-based Intelligent Office system last month, with increased new business enquiries and sign-ups from firms moving from alternative adviser business management systems.

These included DB Wood and Investors Planning Associates, which switched to Intelliflo citing functionality as the key reason for moving from their existing system provider. Customer service was also important in the decision making, according to the firm.

Nick Eatock, Intelliflo’s founder and executive chairman commented that during 10 years of providing web-based solutions for advisers, clients have chosen the system “because they know they can rely on our system to support their business, regardless of their size or complexity of requirements”.

He added that many advisers are realising how technology is to enabling them to run leaner, more effective businesses.

Late last month, Mr Eatock told FTAdviser sister title Financial Adviser that the previous quarter had been the company’s most successful ever for new business.

This was partly put down to the post-RDR environment, which highlighted the benefits of implementing technology to help streamline the advisory process, but also due to the recently implemented pension freedoms opening up new opportunities for advisers.

Intelligent Office supports over 1,400 firms and 12,500 users, with assets under advice of £194bn at the end of March.
