Insurer LV= has announced plans to join the UnderwriteMe protection comparison service, with one of its specialists, claiming this will make the buying process easier for advisers.
Myles Rix, managing director for protection at LV=, said: “We are committed to helping advisers protect more people and being easy to do business with.”
A pilot of the service will start in July with four insurers and a selection of protection distributors. It will be on general release to directly authorised advisers later in 2015.
UnderwriteMe’s technology aims to transform quick quote comparisons into fully underwritten comparisons and a click-and-buy option.
