HSBC staff sacked after mock execution stunt

HSBC has sacked the members of staff involved in a mock Islamic State-style execution video which has appeared online.

In a clip obtained and posted by The Sun, one man kneels in an orange jumpsuit, surrounded by five men in black jumpsuits and balaclavas.

One of the men in black appears to be holding a fake knife.

A HSBC spokesman said: “We do not tolerate inappropriate behaviour. As soon as The Sun brought this video to our attention we took the decision to sack the individuals involved. This is an abhorrent video and HSBC would like to apologise for any offence caused.”

The men were understood to be away from the office when the incident occured.
