Aberdeen announces UK property reshuffle on Easter exit

A reshuffle in Aberdeen’s property division has been prompted by the departure of its head Giles Easter.

The group said Mr Easter was planning to “pursue interests elsewhere in the industry” and so Simon Moscow had now become head of asset management in the UK and Stephen Walker his deputy.

In their new roles, the pair, who have worked for Aberdeen since 2008, will lead the team in developing the firm’s UK property business.

Mr Moscow was head of retail asset management in the UK, responsible for a Specialist Retail Parks vehicle and has also overseen the asset performance of retail assets on behalf of a number of clients.

Mr Walker is head of Edinburgh Asset Management for the UK property team now.
