Baring Asset Management has hired two new members to its multi-asset team.
James Ind and Merrick Styles will report to Marino Valensise, the current head of multi-asset at Barings.
The pair joins as Hartwig Kos has left the firm. His Baring Euro Dynamic Asset Allocation fund will be taking over by Mr Styles who is due to join in mid-october. Mr Styles joins from Amundi where he is currently co-head of investments for its UK business.
Mr Ind will join in September and will oversee the development of a long short strategy. Mr Ind joins from GLG Group.
Both will be members of the strategic policy group.
